Anna Amidani is a highly skilled and experienced tech lead currently working for M&G plc. With over 16 years of relevant experience, Anna has developed a complete knowledge of backend and frontend technologies, as well as devOps/CI/CD. She is a self-learner, flexible, and can easily adapt to new technologies or programming languages. At M&G, Anna is leading a major migration project of several projects from a recently acquired company into the M&G eco-system. Her main contribution has been in designing and setting up the infrastructure needed to support the migration and shaping up the CI and CD for the different projects. Anna is working with POCs and small task-forces, working out of kanban boards with a very fast feedback loop and adaptation to changes when necessary. Prior to her current role, Anna worked as a senior software engineer in Customer Technology, AX area, developing Spring Boot microservices and working as the go-to devOps person on their cloud resources and CI/CD pipelines (Microsoft Azure DevOps), supporting the whole process from feature development to production. She also helped the teams involved achieve compliance with security standards, code quality, and test coverage early in the process. Anna has also worked for Prudential Plc and Soprasteria UK in senior software engineering roles. At Prudential Plc, she was involved in building the company’s design system Arrow and the infrastructure around it, a great experience that allowed her to get exposed to React, UX, and UI, through a full rebranding journey. At Soprasteria UK, Anna worked in a senior software eng/tech lead role for the NHS (National Health Service) team in the government sector, focusing on a subset used by dentists and orthodontists. Anna has a strong educational background with degrees from Data di Nascita and Esperienza.
