Anshul Jhamb is a highly motivated and skilled engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions to real-world problems. Currently working as a Summer Intern at Birla Science Centre, Pilani, Anshul is playing a crucial role in developing smart social distancing wristbands and counter systems using Raspberry Pi 3 and Arduino Uno as a preventive measure against Covid-19. He is responsible for creating an indoor positioning system that tracks visitors in public places using a wifi module and unsupervised learning algorithms to determine the probability of a person within 1m range of another person. Anshul is also using online tools like tinkercad to test sampling data and connect to real-life physical models. The project is currently being tested and will soon be operational in the Birla Science Centre. Anshul's past experience includes working as a Member at IEEE BITS Goa Student Chapter, where he helped in growing the network of IEEE association among various students of engineering colleges and assisted in organizing the IEEE-Lumini event. He has also worked as an Engineer Intern at Aptech, where he worked on multiple projects in programming languages like C, C++, Core Java, and Python. Anshul is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, which he is expected to complete in 2022. He also holds a 12th HSC Science Board degree from Pace Junior Science College, where he scored an impressive 90.34%. Anshul completed his schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir - Juhu, Mumbai. Anshul is proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, and C and has a strong technical background. He has 2.95 years of relevant experience and is always eager to learn new skills and technologies. With his technical expertise and problem-solving skills, Anshul is an asset to any team he works with.
