Anshul Saxena is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in product management, strategy, growth, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. He is a leading advisor and mentor to early-stage companies in the FinTech, Livelihoods, Skilling, DeepTech, and EduTech domains. Anshul has mentored more than 45 companies across India, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, US, Bangladesh, Senegal, and Nigeria, helping them build robust products, grow businesses from 0 to 1, raise fundings, and amalgamate teams. Anshul led the Financial Inclusion Lab, an MSC (MicroSave Consulting) - CIIE.CO partnership initiative, which is funded and supported by top institutional and CSR funders such as JP Morgan, Dell Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network, and Metlife Foundation. The program has been a huge success so far, helping startups raise more than USD 50 million in aggregated funding and impacted more than 40 million lives positively. Before leading the Financial Inclusion Lab, Anshul founded a social media marketing company, Social Buzz, and FinTech and DeepTech companies. He was also a part of Airtel, India’s leading telecom service provider, where he led to strengthen Airtel’s IT revenue stream, strategize joint partnerships, and evaluate products and companies, including startups, to further strengthen Airtel's position in the telecom ecosystem. Before relocating to India in 2012, Anshul was in the US, leading the product development and management teams for a FinTech company called FNC. Anshul holds an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) - Ahmedabad and an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi. He is a digital educator and has conducted workshops on product management and entrepreneurship at IIM-A, IIM-U, and IIM-L. Anshul is a fitness enthusiast and resides in Delhi with his family. Currently, Anshul is a Partner - Business Growth at xscale, an investment firm that invests in and scales B2B SaaS/tech companies. He has also worked as the Head of Strategy at Arth Impact Engine and a Specialist at MicroSave - Financial Inclusion Consulting.
