Anshuman Majumdar is a highly skilled Multimedia Systems Engineer at Qualcomm with a passion for research and software development in the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. His goal is to create intelligent systems that can perceive the world as effortlessly as humans do. Anshuman has extensive experience in research, development, and implementation of Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms on mobile platforms and servers. He has worked on projects related to Hardware Acceleration for Mobile Platforms, Detection, Tracking, and Localization for Autonomous Driving, Perception for UAVs, SLAM and Tracking for Augmented and Virtual Reality, General Object Detection, Tracking, and Pose Estimation, Character Recognition, and Analysis of Handwritten Documents, among others. Anshuman's preferred coding language is C/C++, but he also has a strong reverence for Python. He has published several research papers and participated in various projects related to Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Anshuman has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was responsible for holding regular office hours for clarification of concepts, designing and grading homework, and programming assignments. Currently, Anshuman is working at Qualcomm as a Multimedia Systems Engineer, where he is part of the Multimedia R&D Systems team. He is working on the development of software and systems for the next generation of Computer Vision and Deep Learning acceleration chips for Snapdragon mobile platforms. Anshuman holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) (Hons.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad. He also completed his schooling from DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar, New Delhi, where he studied Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and English. Anshuman's technical skills include Computer Vision, Mobile, Deep Learning, ML, Research Scientist, Object detection, Object Detection, Software Engineer, Python, C, test, and Jenkins.
