As a Software Engineer with McAfee I work with support and our customers to address bugs and integration issues as well as develop and implement new features..  

As a multi platform developer I work on bugs and features that may be in Java, JavaScript, pascal, Ruby, Perl, C, or in house languages.  

As a web developer I have worked on converting our flash interface to a HTML 5 restful interface using Java, JavaScript, Angular and CSS.

To provide continuous integration and testing support for the product I have used Java, Ruby, EasyMock, PowerMock and other frameworks and libraries to provide unit test, integration tests, and end to end tests to help ensure product quality.

As a Security Engineer I worked with third party products to integrate logging data into our product.  I would use Regular Expressions to parse data out of logs and then normalize that data in our system.  To assist in collection of data and writing rules I would use python and Perl to write scripts to assist.

Our stack consisted of Java, Spring, Struts 2, SQL, Hibernate, Groovy, and Grails.  We used jUnit, and Spock for testing.

Assist in the development of surveillance products to meet the needs of law enforcement.  Design and test products that minimize the danger to law enforcement during covert operations using some of the latest technologies in GPS tracking, over the air communication, video and audio communication.  

Audit programming of GPS tracking devices to ensure they are preforming at their best to provide up to date information.  Assist in the troubleshooting of defective equipment.

Helped Military veterans on their path to higher education.  Assisted incoming or potential students in the application processes from questions to paperwork and Major/class selection.  Acted as a mediator between students and professors during difficult times to help veteran students be successful in school.  Counseled with incoming and current veteran students on problems and issues that might arise pertaining to school.

Assisted in collecting and analyzing demographics pertaining to graduate students to help students from recruitment to retention.

Answered questions for incoming students about programs and directed them to the adviser that could best answer questions.
