Anuj Gupta is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java, JavaScript, and product development. He holds a M.Sc(Hons) + B.E.(Hons.) degree in Physics + Electronics and instrumentation from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. Anuj is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at CGI, where he has been working for the past 6.03 years. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Software Engineer and Associate Systems Engineer at the same company. During his time at CGI, Anuj has worked on the Intelligent Automation Platform, a platform for automation of Business Processes related to Infrastructure Management. He has automated the setup process of Logstash and Filebeat for log analytics feature using Ansible and shell scripts. Anuj has also enhanced the existing recommendation engine to allow users to modify the tags being used for the recommendation of a Business Automation Process. He has designed and developed a feedback-based recommendation engine and combined it with the existing tag-based recommendation engine to make a hybrid model. Anuj has a strong engineering background and has worked on various projects related to infrastructure management. He has analyzed regex match and Natural Language Processing techniques to parse system-generated Emails and Logs to extract relevant information and identify critical issues. He has also developed the Log Analytics feature, which uses logs for the identification of critical issues using regex and pattern matching. Anuj has also analyzed Common Data Model and MARS model, used for structuring of Configuration Management Database, and developed a Proof of Concept to migrate the data from Common Data Model to MARS model, using Talend Open Studio, for ease of automation in Infrastructure management. Anuj's technical skills include Software Engineering, Java, JavaScript, Ansible, Infra, and NLP. He is a strong engineering professional who is always eager to learn and explore new technologies.
