Anuj Kanetkar is an Associate Software Engineer (Software Engineer 1) at Veritas, where he is currently working on the NetBackup Core Team within Veritas India. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Anuj has honed his skills in software engineering, image segmentation, and research science. Anuj's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, which he completed in 2020. During his time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Anuj served as a Summer Research Intern, where he developed an image segmentation model for detecting lung abnormalities like cardiomegaly, effusion, mass, nodule, etc. in chest X-Rays. He also worked on developing a model for detecting whether a piece of jewelry is oriented correctly or not and whether a jewel is blurred or in focus. Anuj's past experience also includes a Summer Internship at Persistent Systems, where he worked on developing and sanitizing a tabular database containing records of university students, courses offered, and examinations conducted by the university. He also added functionality to retrieve the stored data in multiple formats (CSV, JSON). With his strong background in software engineering and research science, Anuj is well-equipped to take on complex challenges in the tech industry.
