Anupam Kundu is a US citizen born in India and currently located in France. With over 20 years of experience in software product, people, organization development, go-to-market, and entrepreneurship, he is a business technology strategist by practice and a connector by heart. Anupam has owned and scaled significant revenue and profitability across diverse business units successfully with global, multicultural teams. He has a background in information systems and general management and has successfully built and launched several AI-powered products/platforms/transformations with some of the most planet-friendly global brands like Google, UN (ICEF, FCC, ICC), ThoughtWorks, and others like JPMorgan Chase, Fidelity, Credit-Suisse, etc. Anupam is the Head of Products (Computer Vision) at realvalue, where he built a visual intelligence platform for providing cost-effective, timely, and actionable insights to ops and marketing teams. He orchestrated a global team of seven people to build the CV platform for people counting, occupancy, and other KPIs for physical spaces. He created and managed a roadmap with inputs from customers and global trends and ran product marketing. Anupam successfully pitched the product, the company, and business several times, won successful paid engagements with four different customers, and built case studies and partnerships for scaling the business. He secured public funding for launching the business and scaling the product initiatives and won multiple hackathons and competitions to secure funding and grants from the likes of Google Cloud and accelerators like REACH. Anupam is also the founder/operator of Calculai, where he keeps people at the center of all digital transformations. He offers Strategy, Design, Software, Hardware services to deliver on meaningful problems and opportunities. He is currently working with ambitious leaders and organizations involved in SDG-impact-areas, organization transformations, and venture products/platform development using AI and mobile tech. He also provides advisory services to VC/PE firms, start-up ventures, global multi-lateral organizations (like UN) at the intersection of innovation, AI, and data strategy. Anupam has completed Executive Programs in AI: Impact on Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management and Technology Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. He also holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Rutgers University and a Certificate in Project Management Professional from Villanova University.
