Anupama BN is a seasoned SmartNIC/IPU validation architect at Intel with over 15 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. She is responsible for ensuring the successful validation of network interface cards on different storage appliances, ranging from lower to higher-end products. Anupama has previously worked at Netapp in various roles such as Senior Engineer and Member Technical Staff, where she was responsible for performing platform NIC validation on the ONTAP Operating System. Her expertise lies in evaluating and verifying new NIC cards, conducting layer 2 and layer 3 checks with impairment tools or test equipment, performing layer 4 to layer 7 workloads on traffic generators, and working on RoCE and IWARP protocol testing with new NICs. She also has experience in high-level testing with NVMf, checking all device driver features supported, and ensuring stable check-ins from developers after validation. Anupama is well-versed in error injection on TCP (IPv4 and IPv6) checks to ensure that the driver doesn't break with malformed packets, bad CRC, queue overflows/underflows, and slow transmit paths with various MTU sizes. Anupama's education background includes a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Bangalore University. She also holds an SSLC from BEML High School. Her tech stack includes expertise in senior software engineering, testing, software engineering, QA, and infrastructure.
