Anuraag Guptaa is a seasoned technology leader with over 21 years of experience in software engineering, design, architecture, and technology management. He has a deep understanding of the business back-end, technical and analytical side of RETAIL, SCM, CRM/ERP, and E-COMMERCE. Anuraag has been involved in the development of truly scalable and performance-intensive platforms and has hands-on exposure to strategy planning and execution, risk and crisis management, product management, architecture, design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-class products where performance, scalability, durability, consistency & up-time matters most. Anuraag is a truly out of the box thinker and has exceptional problem-solving skills. He has been involved in the architecture of four big products and various relatively smaller products. These products have had a major impact on the industry they were developed for and changed the way the business is done. Anuraag has also founded shoports.com, which sold sports goods, and managed to sell more than 5000 items in less than two years. Currently, Anuraag is the Director of Engineering at Colortokens Inc., where he is building and leading the platform team for next-gen data ingestion pipeline and services infra. In his past roles, Anuraag has held the position of VP of Engineering at Tray, where he was responsible for hiring, building, and leading engineering for building the next-generation Enterprise PoS for restaurants and FECs. He has also worked as AVP, Head of India Engineering at Cotiviti, where he was responsible for engineering and delivery of payment accuracy solutions for healthcare and retail. Anuraag holds a degree in B.Tech from NSIT and has also completed the Advanced Leadership Program from Harvard Business School. Anuraag's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Infra, Product Manager, Parts-of-speech, and Backend. Anuraag is a seasoned hands-on technical contributor and possesses experience in setting up teams from scratch, recruiting the best talents, and mentoring high-energy teams. He has provided truly exceptional leadership to the teams which owned products end-to-end, including pre-sales.
