Anurag Bapat is an experienced DevOps engineer with a strong background in designing solutions on AWS and contributing as a developer working on Python, .NET, and MySQL. He is currently an Associate Cloud Architect at Simplilearn, where he leverages his key interests in building and utilizing cloud technologies to build scalable and secure software. Anurag has over 8 years of relevant experience, having worked with leading companies such as LeadSquared and Infosys. At LeadSquared, he worked as an ETL developer to build data transformation tools, built applications on .NET used by the Analytics and Reports team, and assisted the DevOps team in automating processes and building workflows. At Infosys, he worked on Microsoft Azure, primarily on the Azure Data Factory, AzureSQL, and Blobs to build complex data pipelines. He also automated resource provisioning on Azure using the Azure Powershell toolkit to streamline the deployment process, wrote SQL jobs, and set up clusters for disaster recovery. Additionally, Anurag built windows applications on C# to perform ETL logic on data sources, was a member of the Natural Languages Experience (NLX) group with a key focus on data transformation and manipulation for BI Teams, and worked on building tools to apply dynamic transformations on raw data in .txt/.csv/.docx/.xls files.
