Anurag is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, where he has taught Data Structures and Algorithms to a group of 25-30 first-year students. Prior to his current role, Anurag worked at Goldman Sachs as a Summer Analyst and Technology Analyst. During his time at Goldman Sachs, he built the Java backend for Risk Metric Services, a platform used to store, manage, and report metrics across the firm. He was also responsible for designing scalable CRUD APIs for metadata management and Workflow, building the Observability Infrastructure for Risk Metric Services using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager, and designing and implementing Data Models for effective and structured querying of Risk Metrics using Legend (GS Open Source modelling language). Additionally, he built and deployed the User Interface (using React) for managing Risk Metrics metadata and designed a Concurrency proof, end-to-end Workflow for Risk Metrics Governance Flow, a system currently being used throughout the Risk Division for onboarding metadata. Anurag is currently working as an SDE-II at Uber, where he is leveraging his skills in Java, Backend, and infra to contribute to the company's success. He is known for his curiosity about life, the universe, and everything, which drives his passion for learning and exploring new things. Anurag holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Information Technology and completed his senior secondary education at Delhi Public School, Patna.
