Anurag Sharma is an Emulation Application Engineer at Siemens EDA with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Functional Verification. He has a post-graduation degree in VLSI technology and has gained expertise in various tools used for front-end verification like Simulation, Emulation, Low Power, UVM, Bus Protocols, Memory Devices, Multimedia Protocols, Storage Protocols, etc. Anurag is highly skilled in scripting using Shell and Perl to achieve automation of tasks. Anurag is currently working in a client-facing role with a major focus on providing technical assistance, driving adoption of new products, and relationship management. He has travelled for work and gained the skill to interact and engage people from different parts of the world, and to resonate with them where and when required. Anurag has great communication skills and a knack for learning and using new languages. One of his key strengths is that he is very good at creating a good rapport with people on both technical and non-technical fronts. He loves working in a dynamic and challenging environment in a product-based company. Prior to Siemens, Anurag worked at Mentor Graphics as an Emulation Specialist. He provided technical support for Mentor emulation products and other emulation-friendly solutions. He helped users with third-party IPs to run on Mentor emulation platforms and debugged RTL and issues/bugs in the user design. Anurag's education history includes a Master's degree in VLSI Design from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Noida, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
