Anurag Singh is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in NLP, AI, and Machine Learning. He is currently working at Google, where he is a part of the News on Search Ranking and Infrastructure team. Anurag has a diverse industry experience, including working on adding third party capabilities to the Google Assistant and contributing towards future developments as Epic Systems expands its customer base internationally. Anurag has also worked on a variety of university projects, including developing an Eclipse RCP toolkit for Text Analysis, Clustering, and Crawling of documents, analyzing Twitter data of the 2014 Midterm elections, and building an application to search for travel locations based on user queries using Yelp reviews. He has also worked on projects to build intelligent agents for playing games and performing searches, developed a Fault-tolerant Beowulf Cluster to run parallel algorithms, and led student teams in various activities. Anurag holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BE (Hons) in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani - K.K. Birla Goa Campus. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Computational Social Science Laboratory at the University of Southern California and as a Software Developer at Epic Systems, where he mentored newly hired Software Developers. Anurag is passionate about working on projects that will enhance his skills and prove to be important contributions towards the success of the organization.
