Anurag Sinha is a detail-oriented and hands-on engineering leader with a passion for technology. With over 10 years of experience in the software engineering industry, Anurag has developed a reputation for solving challenging problems at the intersection of people, product, and technology. He is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Google, where he is responsible for building highly scalable and high-performing distributed systems for the web and mobile using the right mix of technologies. Anurag's interests lie in full-stack application and services engineering, and he is proficient in Full Stack Javascript and Java/JVM technologies. He has a proven track record of building delightful experiences and scalable platforms to support them. Anurag's experience includes working as a Software Development Engineer in the Payments Customer Engineering (PCE) Team at PayPal IDC, where he focused on big data projects using Hadoop and associated big data technologies. He also developed customer-facing web applications and web services for PayPal Checkout products and engineering tools and utilities. Anurag has also worked as a Full Stack application engineer on Node.JS and Javascript technologies. He built the next generation of Checkout Experiences for the PayPal Mobile Payments (Mobile Express Checkout 2.0) atop PPaaS (PayPal Platform As a Service) in the PayPal Checkout team. MEC 2.0 is the PayPal checkout application for eBay mobile and processes 80% of the entire mobile eBay transaction volume. Written from scratch in Javascript/Node.JS, this application was built and scaled to millions of users in a short timeline of 6 months. Anurag holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. He also completed his Class 12th from Central Hindu School and Class 10th from KFI Rajghat Besant School.
