Anurag Wagh is an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP. Currently, he works as an SDE III at Walmart, where he is responsible for developing and deploying Machine Learning prototypes using Python, TensorFlow, Sklearn, and Flask/Django. He also designs and develops Microservices using Java, Spring Boot, NoSQL databases, and REST, which can generate valuable analytics. Anurag has a strong background in Data Processing Pipelines, ETL, and RabbitMQ, and he can create data processing pipelines that can scale and process up to Terabytes of data. Prior to joining Walmart, Anurag worked as a Senior Software Developer at Predii, where he designed and developed Data Processing Pipelines, Microservices, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, and NLP solutions. He used state-of-the-art NLP tools and models such as Spacy and BERT to generate insights out of raw texts and created custom text processing algorithms if required. Anurag also developed a recommendation system for Wikipedia pages, which was a batch implementation on the streaming platform. Anurag gained professional training in Apache Hadoop and its internal workings during his Software Engineer Internship at DataTorrent. He developed a machine learning library for Apache Apex and created an Adapter Layer between Apache Spark and Apache Apex, which enabled the execution of Spark ML algorithms on Apex's stream processing engine. Anurag also compared the accuracy and performance of five ML algorithms on Apache Apex with that on Spark. Anurag holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Vishwkarma Institute of Information Technology. He has experience working with various technologies such as MongoDB, Java, Spark, Flask, Scikit, Spring, Hadoop, and more.
