Anuroop Gubbala is an enthusiastic and results-driven software engineer with a strong background in computer science and engineering. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, Anuroop is actively seeking an internship opportunity for Summer 2022. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, Anuroop has honed his research and development skills while working with Professor Shubham Jain to build a low-cost abstraction that captures upper body dynamics and computes several performance measures accurately. He has also developed an iOS application using game design to merge quantifiable performance metrics with game-like elements to encourage users to perform consistent movements. With over two years of experience as a Software Developer at Chalo, Anuroop has contributed significantly to the company's growth and success. He has been instrumental in orchestrating Contactless Payment Solutions (Chalo Card) to increase user experience by more than 50% and get approved in 20+ cities owing to its reception. Additionally, he has designed and developed systems to handle over millions of online transaction accounts for seamless travel, increasing security of the existing systems by introducing a Central Authorization System. Anuroop is proficient in MERN/MEAN stack development and has hands-on experience with Agile methodology, IntelliJ Idea, Jira, PostMan, Git, and GitLab. He is also skilled in Angular, Java, and Spring. Anuroop holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur. He is expected to complete his Master of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in December 2022.
