Anusha Phadnis is a Graduate Student at the University of Pennsylvania specializing in Scientific Computing. She currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Shen Lab in the field of Computational Biology. With a relevant experience of 2.44 years, Anusha has worked with Oracle as an Application Engineer on Oracle Fusion HCM application, where she was responsible for analyzing customer data and product source code to find fixes to bugs. She also provided bug fixes by working on the product source code using Oracle ADF, Java, and Oracle SQL. As a Software Development Intern at Maq Software, Anusha worked on a real-time business intelligence and analytics reporting project in Microsoft Power BI. Her responsibilities included working on the entire lifecycle of the project, which involved extracting data using MDX, transforming data using SSIS and SQL stored procedures, building a tabular model and metrics using SSAS, and creating a report with visuals in Power BI. She was also responsible for the development and monitoring of Azure Data Factory pipelines to make the entire process more efficient. Anusha validated the reports with the client data, ensuring the project's success. Anusha's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information and Communication Technology with a minor in Computational Science from Dhiru Bhai Ambani Institute and a Master of Science degree in Scientific Computing from the University of Pennsylvania, which she is expected to complete in December 2023.
