Anushree Abhyankar is a highly motivated and skilled UX Researcher at MathWorks, with a strong background in software engineering. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus on human-centered problem solving. Anushree is passionate about leveraging her prior experience in tech and infrastructure to contribute to product design and management. Anushree has worked as a Software Engineer at Helpshift, where she built the frontend of an AI-powered customer support product used by over 2 billion users worldwide. She was involved in all the key phases of the product development cycle, including brainstorming, contract design, development, code reviews, releases, and on-call bug fixing. Anushree also worked on several small to medium-sized projects for UX enhancements, security updates, and product internationalization. She was engaged in broader discussions regarding product and design and was involved in interviewing and selecting new grads joining the company. Anushree has also worked as an Open Source Contributor at Tattle Civic Technologies, where she built a complete video hashing pipeline that allowed Tattle to flag duplicate videos uploaded to their fact-checking system. She has also worked as a Research Intern at the National Chemical Laboratory, where she worked on analyzing the natural phenomenon of Gene Regulation using Deep Learning and built deep learning models for large-scale DNA data. Anushree holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and has completed her schooling from St. Mary's School, Pune. She has also completed a Science degree with Vocational Electronics from Fergusson College. Anushree is skilled in several technologies, including Research Scientist, Javascript, Software Engineer, product designer, product manager, Search, infra, AI, Mobile, Frontend, and Deep Learning. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, Anushree is always on the lookout for the next interesting problem to solve. She is interested in full-time positions in the US and is set to graduate in August 2022.
