Anushrut Gupta is a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager with a strong background in technology and business. He is currently the Director of Sumiran Ecological Foundation, where he has successfully organized 15 landless farmers into a direct-to-consumer cooperative resulting in a 2.5x increase in income. He has also enabled farmers to advertise their produce and collect orders using WhatsApp, achieving INR 200K/month revenue. Anushrut has lowered crop failure by 85% by increasing crop diversity to handle climate variability and ensure soil enrichment. Before joining Sumiran Ecological Foundation, Anushrut worked at Intuit as a Product Manager and Software Engineer Intern. During his time at Intuit, he was the only engineer to PM transition in Intuit India and identified the need and pursued formal creation of the first-ever PM role on the team. He was handpicked by founder Scott Cook among 40 intrapreneurs firmwide to identify Intuit's next billion-dollar opportunity. Anushrut led Intuit's Cryptocurrency payments and payroll research to explore faster, cheaper, and easier domestic/cross-border payments for Intuit's 100M+ customers. He incubated a $XXXM annual market opportunity to enable Robotic Process Automation for small businesses in North America. Anushrut developed product strategy to commercialize the technology underlying Intuit's leading tax software, TurboTax, resulting in the creation of a new business unit targeting a $XXXM serviceable market with a $XXM first-year revenue goal. He worked with three businesses to create proofs of concepts and prove the technology's value; signed one as an alpha customer. Anushrut also led a three-member design and development team to build the minimum viable product, proving technical feasibility. He developed usage and value-based pricing strategies and led A/B testing, proving commercial viability. Anushrut holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee and is currently pursuing an MBA from The Wharton School, with an expected graduation date of December 2024. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in product management, research science, testing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
