Anvee Naik is a highly skilled business development professional and software developer with a strong background in Mathematics and Computing. She holds an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from IIT KGP and has gained over 4 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, Anvee is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Goldman Sachs, where she has designed an optimizer to process transactions for the proprietary database of GS and pass it as an ACID transaction to DynamoDB. She has also built a schema to store transaction logs in DynamoDB and tackled the differences of read/write isolation and consistency between the proprietary database of GS and DynamoDB to avoid dirty reads. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Anvee worked as a Research Intern at the University of Michigan, where she tested an algorithm that used Gaussian Mixture Models and Coherent Point Drift for tracking. She also designed the complete pipeline to run the tracking algorithm on a Kuka robot for object manipulation tasks and used an approx convex optimization model to tackle faults like tracked object passing through itself or stretching. Anvee has also worked as a Software Developer Intern at Skylark Drones, where she built a comprehensive drone-based product to evaluate the cleanliness of solar panels with 97% accuracy. She performed normalization of luminosity of the orthomosaic of a solar panel field for glare reduction and designed an SVM model using robust features after uniform data acquisition to predict dust accumulation on panels. Anvee's technical skills include software engineering, research science, SVM, and normalization.
