Anwesh Mohanty is a Senior Software Engineer at Joveo, with over 6 years of relevant experience in designing and building scalable backend systems. He is a technical lead at Joveo, where he takes ownership of the full lifecycle of projects, from design to development and infrastructure. Anwesh is an expert in building scalable event-driven systems, with a focus on recruitment ads data ingestion and enrichment pipelines. At Joveo, Anwesh has designed and implemented batch processing pipelines for jobs, leveraging AWS batch pipelines and ECS clusters. He has also designed and implemented core platform APIs for external users, mostly using Akka HTTP in Scala for robustness and fault tolerance. As part of the core backend team, Anwesh has been involved in critical infrastructure, database, and code optimizations, including Redis, MongoDB, S3, Elastic Search, and Lambdas. Additionally, he has designed and implemented a tiny URL manager for tracking URLs for jobs. Anwesh has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, where he graduated in 2017. He also has a Higher Secondary Education degree in Physical Sciences from Ravenshaw University, where he graduated in 2013.
