Apar Garg is a Software Engineer with a keen interest in full-stack development. He is passionate about making systemic code changes and environment configurations that impact key performance areas of an application. Apar has worked with ML/NLP tools to tackle real-world problem statements. He believes that technology should replace or simplify repetitive boring tasks so that every human can focus on creative things that make them happy. Apart from his work in technology, Apar has an artistic knack for dramatics/cinema and music. He is a singer and guitar player and follows Indian and blues-style music. Currently, Apar is working as a Software Engineer at Google, where he is involved in the Game Playing and Virtual Money Module. He has designed algorithms to generate fixtures and automatically initiate matches between 100+ online players via background process scheduling APIs. He has also implemented a user wallet microservice to transact virtual money across 3+ leading payment gateways with localised exchange rate support. Prior to Google, Apar worked at Sprinklr as a Senior Product Engineer and User Interface Development Engineer Intern. At Sprinklr, he designed algorithms to generate fixtures and automatically initiate matches between 100+ online players via background process scheduling APIs. He also engineered the configuration and auto-migration of the ReactJS codebase (500k+ LOC) into Typescript, reducing the development effort by 90%. Apar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from NSIT, where he graduated in 2020. He also completed his AISSCE (Class XII) from Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, and CISCE (Class X) from St. Mary's Academy, Meerut Cantt. Apar's technical skills include Software Engineering, Docker, MySQL, Microservices, Flask, NLP, ML, and Backend. With 2.70 years of relevant experience, Apar is always eager to learn new perspectives and help others in any way he can.
