Aparajita Singh is an experienced software developer currently working as an SDE3 at Flipkart. She has a strong background in computer networking and is skilled in various technologies including Node.js, Java, Elasticsearch, and Mongo DB. Aparajita graduated from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and has over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. Previously, Aparajita worked at Cisco as a Developer where she was responsible for defining and maintaining entitlement data for customers and partners of Cisco. She was involved in designing and implementing multi-threaded, scalable ETL processes to migrate data from Oracle RDMS to NoSQL data stores such as Mongo DB and Elasticsearch. Aparajita also worked on writing microservices and APIs to fetch data from the NoSQL data stores. She was part of a project that required in-depth knowledge of the business underlying the data and good understanding of the technologies used to perform the data transformation. Aparajita used Neo4j for consolidating the data and worked on data modeling for the Neo4j graph, as well as the design for one-time data migration and incremental data migration. In addition to her work at Cisco, Aparajita also worked as an intern at Cisco where she built a search engine using natural language processing. The search engine was expected to identify a Cisco product name from a sentence and to search for data related to that product. OpenNLP was used with Java to train the model. Elasticsearch was used to index the data. Hadoop was used as a permanent data store. D3 JS was used for visualization of the search results.
