Aparna Roy is a highly skilled software engineer with over 2 years of experience in designing and maintaining complex, large-scale software systems. Currently working with the Cisco 5G Core SMF team, she is responsible for developing cloud-native microservices that are deployed on the Kubernetes platform, and building the required framework to support them in Golang. Her expertise in software engineering has made her an invaluable asset to the team. Apart from her work in software engineering, Aparna is also an avid researcher in the field of computational data science and natural language processing. She has a keen interest in exploring the latest developments in these fields and is always looking for opportunities to collaborate with other researchers. With her strong background in software engineering and research, Aparna is well-equipped to take on challenging projects in these areas. Aparna is currently pursuing her graduate studies at UC Berkeley, focusing on machine learning and NLP. She has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. During her time at Manipal Institute of Technology, she was an active member of the Electronics Team and also served as the Electronics and DAQ Team Leader at Solarmobil Manipal.
