Apoorv B. is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence development. With a strong background in data science and natural language processing, Apoorv has developed a keen interest in research areas such as NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Currently serving as the Head of AI & Data and a founding team member at Kryptonas Innovations Private Limited, Apoorv is responsible for building ML pipelines and products, developing APIs, and creating internal testing tools. Additionally, he is working on developing product analytics to better understand consumer behavior. Prior to his current role, Apoorv served as a Research Assistant at Midas-IIITD, where he worked with Professor Rajiv Ratn Shah to study, analyze, and build multimedia systems for society using multimodal information. During his time at Midas-IIITD, Apoorv helped secure the lab's first corporate-funded project and developed an auto-grading Text QA system for Benesse. He also worked on common sense reasoning (VQA) tasks of deep learning, utilizing joint feature representation in the same vector space and graph neural nets. Apoorv has also gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at BHEL, where he developed a crowd behavior analysis system by extracting 3D visual features and optical flows. Apoorv holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Delhi College of Engineering and completed his high school education at V.V.D.A.V. Public School. With a strong tech stack that includes AI, ML, NLP, reinforcement learning, computer vision, Django, and deep learning, Apoorv has accumulated 3.45 years of relevant experience as a research scientist, data scientist, and backend developer. Apoorv's passion for AI and machine learning development is evident in his work, and he is committed to staying at the forefront of the field.
