Apoorv Lokhande is a Control Engineer at Wabtec Corporation with over 4.5 years of experience in the field. He specializes in developing software for Train Control & Management System as per functional safety requirements EN 5012x in IEC 61131-3 languages. With a strong understanding of SDLC & V&V methodologies, he has contributed to software requirement, high level software design, detailed design and implementation stages. Apoorv has also been involved in Integration testing and validation stages during commissioning and maintenance support for a different project. Apoorv graduated from NIT, Bhopal majoring in Electrical Engineering where he headed the Student Nano-satellite project named Azad-1. This project aimed to develop a nano-satellite with a Solar Imaging Payload, providing him with a great exposure to technology. As the Coordinator of Vision, the technical club of NIT, Bhopal, Apoorv presented & organized workshops and lectures pertaining to Embedded Systems & Robotics. Prior to his current role, Apoorv worked as an R&D Executive and GET- R&D at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MANIT and completed his Senior Secondary School (CBSE) from Maharishi Vidya Mandir. Apoorv's tech stack includes test and integration. He is a Cubesat enthusiast and is passionate about exploring new technologies and advancements in the field. With his strong technical background and experience, Apoorv is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
