Apoorv is a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a career spanning over 12 years. He is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Confluent, where he is responsible for designing RESTful APIs to adopt service-oriented architecture and migrating from a monolithic application to a more robust and scalable distributed system. Apoorv has also migrated the entire web technology stack from a PHP monolithic application to SOA based enterprise application in JAVA technologies. He is constantly innovating to ensure a high performance, available, stable, and scalable platform. Prior to his current role, Apoorv worked at Cohesity as an MTS, where he was responsible for solving the overlapping IP address problem in a multi-tenant data platform. He designed and implemented solutions to provide backup and restore functionality for resources within a tenant environment having overlapping IP addresses across different tenants. Apoorv also implemented a remote adapter to de-dupe data at the source to save data transfer while improving latency. He managed Postgres Database for Reporting at On-Prem Data Platform and implemented solutions to provide managed database service and ETL for Data Platform metadata. He also handled node/disk removal and failure to scale the database in accordance with fault tolerance within the cluster. Apoorv has also worked at Walmart as an Engineer-4, where he was responsible for architecting a Micro Services platform for the next-generation analytics tool. He architected a multi-tenant infrastructure for different domains (Finance, Walmart Pay, etc.) to be onboarded on Walmart's Global Data Platform. Apoorv holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Dehradun Institute of Technology and a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from St. Francis. He is proficient in Java, PHP, web technologies, ETL, Postgres, microservices, and infrastructure.
