Apoorv is a highly experienced Tech Lead at Amazon Ads with over 6.87 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Engineering. He has a strong background in developing and delivering high-quality software products and services. Apoorv started his career as a Software Engineering Intern at Boeing, working with the Jeppesen Aviation Mapping Technology team on the development of MapKit Web SDK. He then moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Inshorts, a news summarizing startup, where he developed the Data intelligence platform capable of ingesting and processing distributed data streams using Kafka, Spark Clusters, Elasticsearch, and Druid. He also shipped reliability improvement to the data ingestion pipeline to process ~1 Billion app usage records per day. Apoorv subsequently became the Project Lead for Inchats project, where he developed and shipped the iOS and Android apps using React Native, along with end-to-end encrypted communication channels. Currently, Apoorv is an SDE II at Amazon Ads, where he is responsible for leading the development of new and innovative advertising technologies. He has also founded two startups, Smoothie (rebranded as Rebound) and Wizters, where he gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship and leadership. Apoorv has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
