Apoorva Agarwal is a Senior Software Engineer at GE Healthcare with a passion for medical imaging. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Apoorva is currently working in an R&D role in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) team at GE Healthcare in Bangalore, India. Her primary responsibility is software development and integration of AI-based MR image enhancements. Apoorva has a Master's degree in Data Analytics from Penn State World Campus and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Her academic background and professional experience have equipped her with a strong foundation in software engineering, AI, integration, and deep learning. Apoorva has worked on various projects during her tenure at GE Healthcare. She was a Senior Design Engineer, where she focused on DL model optimizations for deployment in different compute platforms. She was also part of the Edison Engineering Development Program, where she worked in three teams across three rotations: PET Imaging, MR Image Visualization, and MR Image Reconstruction.
