Apoorva Chikara is a Senior Technical Lead at HCLTech with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field. He is proficient in Node.js, Angular, React, and AWS. Apoorva is currently working on building a blogging website for Node.js, JS, Angular, and React. In his previous role at HCL, Apoorva worked as a Senior Technical Lead where he automated end-to-end product deployment, APIs, and Lambdas using cloud formation scripts which cut deployment time by half. He also handled the incident management website for WM and its API on Node.js for performance improvements. Apoorva has hands-on experience with EC2 instance, S3, API gateway, IAM, S3, SGs, Lambdas, Cloudwatch, SQS, SNS, and used his cloud experience to design and manage cloud-based infrastructure to deliver the required performance, security, and availability requirements. He was also involved in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting techniques. Apoorva assigned work to team members and monitored the progress of the development while adhering to the standard SOPs for writing and delivering the code. Prior to this, Apoorva worked as a Senior Analyst at HCL where he was a Linux administrator and a transition specialist. He was responsible for taking transition of new build projects and coordinating with clients to deliver them within delivery dates. Apoorva has experience with MySQL, MongoDB databases, SSL/TLS on Apache Webserver, AngularJS/Angular 2, and Nodejs. He provided support on weekends and odd hours to ensure little to no disruption of local and operational systems during scheduled maintenance and outages. Apoorva managed daily activities to include user support and system administration tasks, maintained, configured and built Debian, FreeBSD, RHEL Linux, OEL Linux, VMware, Cloud Based, and Physical Linux Servers. He also wrote scripts in Shell, Bash, and Python for time-consuming day-to-day tasks, experienced with User Management, Server Monitoring, Backup Issues, and firewall and Iptables configurations. Apoorva holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Amity University.
