Apoorva Kumar is a seasoned Product Leader with over 11 years of experience in cloud technologies, data management, machine learning, IoT, big data frameworks, B2C, SaaS and platform products. He is currently working as a Senior Manager of Product Management at Microsoft, where he manages an awesome team of Product Managers building 0 to 1 B2C product for frontline workforce, working on product-led growth initiatives for SaaS apps, and building platform capabilities for citizen developers to create collaborative apps. Prior to this, Apoorva worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon for AWS Lambda, as a Principal Product Manager at Informatica for its Data Quality products, and as a Product Owner/Manager at SAP where he was building Data Science tools on SAP Analytics Cloud. He also worked as a Solutions Architect & Development Lead for SAP Hybris Commerce & Marketing at SAP Ireland & SAP America Inc., where he engaged with various Fortune 500 customers. Apoorva started his career as a Software Developer and contributed to some of the finest on-premise and cloud enterprise products. He also contributed to open source. For his work, Apoorva has been consecutively rated as an outstanding performer, has received multiple awards and was also selected as a part of SAP Top Talent Fellowship Program at SAP Silicon Valley. He has authored 5 US patents. Apoorva is focused on software product development/management best practices & agile methodologies and has rich experience of working with cross-functional multi-location teams. He also has excellent academic records and holds a bachelor's degree from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Masters in Product and Technology Management from Graduate Business School of Technological University Dublin (Ireland).
