Apul Nahata is a Chief Mentor at Brigade REAP, Co-Founder at Kalpnik Technologies, and an ex-Qualcomm employee. With over 25 years of experience in startups, technology, and investment, Apul has a proven track record of managing small and large technical projects containing diverse teams, both local and remote. He has worked in Bangalore, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Mumbai, spanning consumer internet, mobile, and telephony in the US and India. Apul has 22+ years of technology/product, design & development experience, and 20+ years of managing technical projects. He has 12 years of personal startup experience, covering all aspects, and 7+ years of startup acceleration, investment, and mentoring. Apul's core competencies include harmonizing streams of technology and finding the right product fitment for the overall delivery of value. Apul is interested in the big picture and how things work together, knowing a little about a lot of things, technical and non-technical. He is driven by technology and fueled by turning ideas into reality. Apul has worked with both Fortune 500 companies and startups, exposed to the whole spectrum of large budget-driven technology R&D and product rollouts on one hand, to delivering disruptive and innovative solutions to bootstrapped companies on the other. Apul is currently the Chief Mentor (Founding Mentor) at Brigade REAP, Asia's first real estate-focused startup accelerator program with a mission to accelerate innovation in PropTech sector. He was also the Co-Founder & CTO at Kalpnik, India's largest multi-faith, multi-lingual OTT platform for devotion experiences. Apul has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a B.E (Computer Science) from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
