Apurav Chauhan is a seasoned and strategic leader with a passion for software and people building it. As the Global Vice President of Engineering at Sendinblue, he is responsible for the engineering roadmap, scale, KPIs, and professional growth of teams located in Noida, Berlin, Sofia, and Paris. With a proven track record of building and driving highly scalable products with customer focus at the core, he is a strong believer in teamwork and the lead by example philosophy. Apurav has over 17 years of relevant experience, having worked with some of the leading companies in the industry. He was the Director of Engineering at Paytm, where he strategically led the Paytm's Business App and Bulk Payment Solutions for Payment to make disbursements like vendor payouts, meal allowance, daily wages, issue e-commerce refunds to bank accounts or wallets. Apurav also led the Paytm's Business app and built a strong android and ios team. He improved app performance on various metrics like Startup time, frozen frames, cold/hot starts, battery and reviews. He also led the digital ledger initiative "Paytm Business Khata" to allow merchants to record credit/udhaar entries and send payment invoices to collect payments and track everything in the Paytm business app. Apurav's expertise lies in building highly scalable and distributed products for a faster and better experience in terms of both user and technology. He has a strong technical background in Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, Web, Parts-of-speech, iOS, Android, Redis, RabbitMQ, Spring, Frontend, Backend, New Relic, Kafka, Jenkins, and Java. He has also worked with Jira, Bitbucket, Github, ELK, Pinpoint, VisualVM, V8 Profiler, Aerospike, and more. Apurav is a graduate of Guru Nanak Dev University, where he earned his degree. He is a visionary leader who is passionate about building and leading high-performance teams.
