Apuroop Nagam is an aspiring Data Engineer with a strong technical background in engineering. He is actively looking for new opportunities on Azure and has expertise in Azure Data Engineering, AZ-900, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Python. With a passion for connecting ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, or applications from different industries, Apuroop graduated from college in May 2019 and is currently working as a Software Engineer. Apuroop has experience in data creation, curation, and analytic services, having worked as an ML Data Associate at Amazon's Alexa Data Services (ADS). He worked closely with the Machine Learning Science modeling team, providing critical data for improvement of Alexa's Automatic Speech Recognition and Natural Language Understanding models and domain features. He demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking in skill evaluation of Alexa's natural language understanding and dialect while managing and ensuring completion of the daily and weekly SLA of the team. Apuroop is proficient in SQL, Python (NumPy, pandas), and Azure Data Factory, and knowledgeable with Tableau. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pragati Engineering College, where he gained relevant experience for 3.69 years. Apuroop is looking for full-time roles and is excited to bring his technical expertise and passion for connecting ideas to his next opportunity.
