Apurv is an accomplished business leader with over 23 years of experience in managing credit cards, loans, wealth, and retail banking through multiple channels, multi-location large in-house sales teams, relationships, products, partners, markets, acquisitions, and operations across all customer segments. He specializes in new business/channel/product setup and launch, management of large sales and distribution teams, digital lending, product management, strategic alliances, partner relationship management, and new product development. Currently, Apurv serves as the EVP and Business Head of Personal Loans at IndusInd Bank, where he heads the unsecured personal loans business. Prior to his current role, he has held several leadership positions, including National Sales Manager - Premium Cards, Private & Business Clients at Deutsche Bank and Assistant Vice President, Product Head - Cards & PL at Citi, where he was responsible for consumer finance and cards cross-sell product head. Apurv holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD, a B.Com (Hons) in Commerce from Delhi University, and completed his Class XII in Science & Mathematics from Delhi Public School. He has a strong technical background with expertise in Java, C, product management, senior software engineering, AWS, blockchain, AI, Redis, PHP, search, and web development.
