Apurv Kolapkar is a DevOps Architect with over 10 years of experience in designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant architectures on AWS. He has extensive experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and deploying resources to AWS. Apurv has a strong understanding of Agile methodology and is a big proponent of automating manual workflows using Python scripting. As a team player, Apurv is able to lead his team when needed and actively helps to resolve any issues or challenges faced by the development teams. He is also a Big Data enthusiast, with a strong interest in MapR. Currently working as a DevOps Architect at EdCast, Apurv's responsibilities include configuring and maintaining HA Kubernetes clusters on the cloud, finding solutions to achieve cost optimization, and making containerized applications secure using best practices. He is also responsible for automating manual tasks and various operational processes with the right tools and setting up a continuous build environment to speed up the software development and deployment process. Apurv also monitors, reviews, and manages technical operations. Prior to his current role, Apurv worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at EdCast and a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer Analyst at Accenture. In both roles, he was responsible for designing and implementing highly available and fault-tolerant architectures on AWS cloud. He also automated manual workflows using Python scripting, created Lambda functions using Python scripting to make applications self-healing, and developed puppet modules as and when required. Apurv holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University. He is proficient in DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD, among other relevant technologies.
