Apurva Deshpande is a seasoned Product Owner with over six years of experience in manual and automation QA testing, as well as product management. Having worked on-site in New York and Berlin, she has gained valuable exposure to diverse work cultures and practices. Currently working as a Product Owner at arive, Apurva is responsible for defining the product roadmap, owning the product backlog, creating user stories and documentation, setting priorities, and maintaining sync between cross-functional teams. She is also responsible for documenting processes and best practices to lead the team and set ownership, creating user manuals for product usage and tutorials, handling change requests and requirements, performing UAT rounds, and planning sprints and Scrum ceremonies using Agile methodologies. Prior to her current role, Apurva worked as a Lead QA Engineer at betterhalf, where she was responsible for triaging incoming requests from internal stakeholders, collaborating with engineers and product managers to develop documentation and knowledge base, identifying areas of improvement, establishing and evolving formal QA processes, and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures. She has also worked as a Sr. Software Development Engineer Test (SDET II) at agrostar, where she was responsible for mobile application and web app testing. Apurva holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune, as well as diplomas in Test Automation Selenium Webdriver and Software Testing & Quality Assurance from Seed Infotech Pvt. Ltd. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
