Apurva Modak is a C++ Software Engineer with a passion for modern C++ and software design. He is currently working at AMD's GPU Developer Tools Team, where he is learning about GPUs and graphics programming. Apurva is also pursuing an online Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on Computer Systems, which he expects to complete in Spring 2024. Before joining AMD, Apurva worked for five years as an application developer, where he worked on 3D Desktop and Web apps for computer-aided design and fluid flow simulation domains. He graduated with a Master's degree in Computational Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Fall 2017. Apurva has also worked as a Software Engineer at Dassault Systèmes, where he worked on Solidworks Desktop and Web Apps, and at Exa Corporation, where he worked on PowerFlow Simulation. Exa Corporation was later acquired by Dassault Systèmes. Apurva's technical skills include Software Engineering, Web development, and Spring. He has 2.78 years of relevant experience.
