Aqeel Gunja is a Senior Director of Engineering - Platform with over 12 years of experience in software engineering and 10 years in enterprise app architecture design. He has a proven track record of being an engineering leader and has extensive experience in AWS and cloud architecture. His expertise also includes mobile UX design, project management, and strategy. Aqeel has been a technical lead and SME for a multi-million dollar enterprise iOS app that generated over $1 billion in revenue in 2015. He has also been involved in multi-million dollar RFP evaluation and pitch execution. Currently, Aqeel is working at Trovata as the Senior Director of Engineering - Platform. Prior to his current role, Aqeel has held various positions at Trovata.io, including Director of Engineering - Cloud Platform & Architecture and Head of Platform & Cloud Architecture. In these roles, he was responsible for establishing and executing the vision for Trovata's overarching software platform and used AWS serverless architecture and API Gateway to design and develop Trovata's cloud infrastructure. Aqeel graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science in 2007.
