Aquil Hussain is a Software Engineer II at Deliveroo, with a passion for computer science and a focus on customisation in OTT, VOD, broadcasting, and live streaming platforms. With 4.20 years of relevant experience, Aquil has honed his skills in software engineering, Ruby, backend development, AWS, Javascript, Java, Redis, web and mobile development, ML, MySQL, and microservices. Aquil began his career as a Summer Intern at IIT Bombay before moving on to become a Software Engineer at West Agile Labs. There, he worked as a Ruby on Rails Backend Developer, creating backend for web and mobile applications via APIs and scripts. Currently, he is a Software Engineer at Amagi, where he is responsible for developing software solutions for broadcasting and live streaming platforms. Aquil holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Sikkim. He also completed his AISSCE from Sir Tashi Namgyal Senior Secondary School, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Aquil's educational journey began at Kyi-De-Khang Secondary School, where he completed his AISSE in Everything. Apart from his professional life, Aquil loves to travel and meet new people. He is a computer science enthusiast who is always eager to learn and explore new technologies. With his strong technical skills and passion for software engineering, Aquil is a valuable asset to any team.
