Aravind Badiger is an experienced engineer with a strong background in thermal engineering. He has a demonstrated history of working in the aviation and aerospace industry, with a focus on aero-thermal analysis using ANSYS software. Currently working as an Engineer at Collins Aerospace, Aravind provides CFD simulation support for various aircraft programs, including sub-scale wing models, electronic cooling systems, and lighting products. He has also contributed to the design and certification of aircraft components such as pitot probes, TAT probes, and evacuation slides. Prior to his work at Collins Aerospace, Aravind worked as a CAE Engineer at Chola Radical Engineering & Software Technology, where he performed computational fluid dynamics simulations of gas turbine afterburner geometries. He also worked as a Project Trainee at Gas Turbine Research Establishment (DRDO), where he designed a fuel injection system for a gas turbine afterburner using theoretical relations and CFD. Aravind holds a Master's Degree in Thermal Engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education Karnataka, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Basaveshwar Engineering College. He also completed his Class 12th (Pre-University Course) from Karnataka Science College, Dharwad, and his High School education from Basel Mission English Medium High School, Dharwad. With 6.69 years of relevant experience, Aravind is a skilled research scientist with expertise in ANSYS Mechanical, Spaceclaim, Fluent, ICEPAK, and STAR CCM+. He is a strong engineering professional with a passion for the aviation and aerospace industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
