Aravind Balaji is an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in certifying software quality through automated tools and frameworks. He is currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineer II at Amazon, where he is responsible for working on Kindle E-reader releases to certify software quality through automated testing. With 4.70 years of relevant experience, Aravind is skilled in yearly roadmap planning for QA team velocity and consistently mentoring people who find it interesting to find bugs. He has worked on certifying quality for Kindle Create and Kindle Previewer 3 softwares to help authors certify and proofread their books before publishing to Amazon. Aravind has also worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer - Intern at Amazon, where he owned and designed functional and performance test suites for both Android and IOS. He also automated and maintained test scripts on pipelines using Jenkins for 200+ test scenarios and set up lab machines with Jenkins and TestNG reporting to provide 24/7 support for test automation. He developed .gs scripts with auto triggers to delete emails older than 1 day and implemented Utils to simplify test scenarios and reduce code redundancy. Aravind has professional experience with version control software - GIT and test maintenance software experience - qTest and Test rail. He has fixed test case failures with report logs and metrics with TestNG and implemented better and more complex Helpers methods to simplify and run the test automation efficiently. He has also driven the Device associate team of 2 for automation failure analysis and report generation for tracking failures on a daily basis.
