Aravind Raghavan is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Fullstack Lead Software Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience. He is skilled in designing RESTFul APIs, building microservices, and creating resilient applications using serverless architectures like AWS Lambda. Aravind has hands-on experience with synchronous programming models like PHP, Python, and asynchronous programming models like NodeJS and ReactJS. Aravind is also interested in digital marketing techniques such as Google Adwords, SEO, blogs, Facebook Ads, push notifications, and bulk email marketing. He has taken the responsibility of building applications from the ground up, including setting up infrastructure, databases, coding, testing, building, and deployment. Aravind has experience building real-time systems using Firebase, sockets, pusher, elastic cache, elasticsearch, and redis. He is responsible for keeping servers live throughout the year and has achieved millisecond latency for a chat system based on pusher, redis, and javascript. Aravind has worked with object storages like Firebase storage, S3, and achieved high availability of object data by mirroring across availability zones. He ensures high availability of microservices using ELB (Elastic Load Balancers), auto-scaling, and cloud watch. He has an in-depth understanding of relational database systems like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and non-relational database systems like Redis, MongoDB, and MemCache. Aravind is responsible for securing all HTTP, HTTPS endpoints, along with open ports in the server. He knows how to play well with IAM, Security groups, Private/Public VPC, NAT, and Gateways. Currently, Aravind is a Senior Engineer at Powerschool, where he is using some of the best in class Agile and leading scrum team to build a product that is used by at least a million people every day. He has also worked as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Ethnus, where he worked in research and development, full-stack web development, Rest API, and security for API. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from Anna University and has completed pre-university and higher secondary education from Gill Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary School and The Hindu Senior Secondary School, respectively.
