Aravind Sirsikar is a highly experienced Wireless System Engineer with over 13 years of experience in radio communication technologies, including 5G/LTE/WCDMA/EGPRS/GSM. He has extensive knowledge and experience in protocol stacks, L2 and L3, and has worked on various aspects of 5G, including RRM, scheduler, HARQ, CSI, and MCS table handling. Aravind has worked on LTE L1 for FDD mode, and on Radio Interface protocol stacks for WCDMA/UMTS and EGPRS. He has also contributed to the open-source community by defining pdch/pdchs for single/multiple TRX, handling TBFs in both UL and Downlink, and integrating with upper layers. Currently working as a Software Developer at Asocs, Aravind is involved in various aspects of 5G, including defining SSBs, coresets, and search spaces for pdcch, time domain definition for PDSCH/PUSCHs, and analyzing QxDM logs/Sparx logs. He has also worked on implementing features such as 256 QAM in LTE DL, ANR for inter RAT, and carrier aggregation support for FDD. In his previous roles as a Lead Software Engineer and Lead Engineer at Radisys, Aravind worked on LTE scheduler, PDCP throughput and performance analysis, and inter-frequency HandOver failure analysis. He has also contributed to the open-source community by working on EGPRS RLC/MAC development/integration.
