Aravindh Ramaswamy is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Amazon, with over 11 years of relevant experience in building highly available distributed systems. He is a passionate innovator with a keen ability to multiplex, pursue challenges, and succeed in his endeavors. Currently, Aravindh is the Software Development Manager III at Amazon, where he is leading a team of developers to deliver multiple initiatives for CSAs/automated channels in Amazon CSTech concessions space. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the team and delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of millions of customers. Prior to Amazon, Aravindh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at 8kpc, where he designed and implemented highly available and scalable monitoring/management platforms for the product. He also worked on enterprise storage features for distributed filesystems, backup and restore versioning schemes, and high availability for NFSv3 front-end. Aravindh started his career as an intern at Tata, where he designed and developed a Network Dashboard that provides an elegant and user-friendly view of data from legacy systems regarding network link utilization across various Points of Presence(PoPs). Aravindh holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from Anna University, where he graduated in 2011. He has expertise in Software Engineering, Python, C, AWS, Frontend, Search, Spark, Apache Airflow, and infra.
