Aravindhan Rangarajan is a highly skilled Staff Analog Design Engineer at Broadcom with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a strong interest in product design and management, hardware/analog design, and project management. Additionally, he is passionate about IoT, wearable technology, and software application using hardware resources. Aravindhan's skillset includes storage SerDes analog design in 5nm, 7nm, 16nm, and 28nm for PCIe, SAS/SATA standards, and customer-specific requirements. At Broadcom, Aravindhan has worked on various projects, including designing VCO (5nm), voltage mode Tx driver, high bandwidth regulator, clock dividers, and clock path circuitry. He has also been responsible for reliability (EM, TMI) and ESD analysis of key blocks. Furthermore, he has worked on the TX/RX PLL Feedforward path and planned tasks and coordinated with cross-functional groups. Aravindhan has experience working with standards such as PCIe, SAS/SATA, Ethernet, CCIX, GenZ, JESD, and CPRI, with a data rate corresponding to each generation of different standards, maxing out at 32Gbps. He has also been exposed to technology such as 5nm, 7nm, 16nm, and 28nm. In his past roles at the University of Minnesota, Aravindhan contributed to the design of a CMOS-based sub-bandgap reference and a low-power capless low dropout regulator. He also worked on the Digital Sign System (DSS) project as a part-time researcher, which is a significant new wayfinding technology for people with vision loss. Aravindhan holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from NIT Kurukshetra. He is a talented designer, product designer, mobile developer, senior software engineer, and research scientist.
