Archana Folane is a seasoned Big Data solution lead with over a decade of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Big Data applications using Hadoop ecosystem, Java/J2EE, and machine learning techniques. She has expertise in developing batch frameworks and real-time applications using Hadoop MapReduce, PySpark, Hive, HBase, Couchbase, Oozie, and shell scripts. Archana has excellent knowledge of Hadoop ecosystems such as Job Tracker, Task Tracker, Name Node, Data Node, and MapReduce programming paradigm. She is proficient in designing and developing PySpark using Python for data fetch, processing, and analyzing the data. Archana has worked on Spark applications for data processing and analysis using Spark RDD's, Data Frames, Datasets, SQL. Currently, Archana is working as a Vice President at Citi and has previously worked as a Technical Lead and Technology Analyst at Infosys.
