Archit Chhikara is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for solving real-life problems and improving people's well-being through technology. He has over 6.95 years of relevant experience in software product development, including design, development, deployment, scalability, and optimization. Currently, Archit is working as a Sr. Software Engineer at Infrrd, where he is responsible for designing and implementing microservices using Spring Boot to fetch data from email and calendar service providers such as Google and Microsoft. He has also implemented a process for transforming the data for solution needs and exposed it through APIs. Archit has implemented a microservice to be exposed to mobile and web using Spring Boot. His tech stack includes Spring Boot, Elastic Search, Redis, Maven, Jenkins, Azure, and Angular. Before joining Infrrd, Archit worked at Cerner as a Senior Software Engineer. During his time there, he implemented the ETL process using Apache Crunch pipelines to extract relevant data from Hbase or HDFS processed by crawlers. Archit also implemented the process of exposing the data through Solr and scaling the retrieval of data. He reduced data load time by 50% by using various optimization techniques like denormalization, and implemented visualizations and widgets for the dashboard using Ruby on Rails framework with Front End Technologies which consumed the data from Brahe. His tech stack at Cerner included Hadoop, Apache Crunch, HBase, HDFS, Vertica, Brahe, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Rails(Ruby, HAML, less, D3), AWS. Archit has also worked at PointCross as a Software Engineer, where he implemented the process of extracting data from various formats like WITSML, WITS, and LAS logs using MapReduce, structured the data, and loaded it in HDFS. He also implemented the process of normalizing the structured data to be stored in HBase to be used by HSearch for indexing, to be used further for better analytics. Archit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC ACTS, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Rajasthan Technical University.
