Archit Gupta is a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong background in computer science and biological sciences. As a current NTU India Connect Intern at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, he is responsible for building a client-side web-based interactive visualization tool for the analysis and visualization of single-cell RNA-Seq data. His primary focus is on using ReactJS to build the web application and performing operations on JSON data. Prior to his current role, Archit gained valuable experience as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern at Samsung R&D, where he worked on the Rich Communication Service (RCS), a messaging feature that is part of the 5G Communication Services team. He conducted extensive research and designed a protocol to use blockchain involving custom hash fields within the transactions for legitimate message exchange among users while maintaining the anonymity of the message content. The protocol he developed will reduce incoming spam messages drastically and help track the source of unsolicited viral messages. Archit also worked as a Summer Intern at North Eastern Space Applications Centre, where he worked on a project involving Aerial Video Classification, Action Recognition, and Tracking. He used the Okutama-Action dataset and preprocessed the 4K drone video footage for classifying human actions into 11 different categories. He built CNN and LSTM models using the Keras framework and achieved an accuracy of 88% and 89% respectively. This model was used for tracking suspicious human activity at public places in real-time. Archit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also attended Ryan International School, Ghaziabad, and Indian Language School. He has a broad range of technical skills, including software engineering, web development, blockchain, ReactJS, research science, mobile development, video classification, Keras, and CNN. With 0.44 years of relevant experience, Archit is a highly capable and driven individual with a passion for technology and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the world.
